A few dives back, we encountered whales in front of Flic-en-Flac, a mother and her kid. We had heard them under water already, but didn’t see them. Sound travels far under water. Then, out of the water again, on the boat, we saw them.
The quality of video is really bad, sorry. The sea was slightly choppy, hence so was the boat, my camera lens was still wet, mediocre lighting due to an overcast sky, and I had to digitally zoom in a bit while editing, losing some resolution in the process (it’s shot in 1080p, so the result is maybe something like 720p).
Anyway, the excitement on the boat was definitely bigger than now watching this bad video… what majestic creatures.
