Sitting at my desk, reclining and feet up, I glanced at the board of my bookshelf with my IT books.
It’s the set of books that survived my rigorous clear-out before moving here.
I only wanted to keep the essentials, so I simply kept the books that had a deeper meaning for me, for whatever reason. I suppose a geeky psychologist could derive some telling profile from this collection…
OK, to redeem myself, there’s also that tome to the right on the upper board. It’s the exception to my goal to keep only one USM-shelf width of IT books.
Hm, I had thought that I also own the original Kernighan-Ritchie C language book. Actually I am sure I had it. But I guess it died in my father’s cellar when it was flooded.
