The other day, when diving the Canyon dive site in front of Flic-en-Flac, I came across this depiction of a skull on a rock.
I don’t know if it’s a coral, or a fungus, or whatever.
But it definitely looked cool. Grungy.

BTW, on the second picture you see a behaviour that we photographers really dislike: kneeling in the sand. See the cloud of sand stirred up between the two divers, right above the ground? This is poison for taking pictures, especially if using a flash (which I didn’t here). Actually, even swimming too close to the ground can cause sand clouds, just by the movement of the fins, unless you’re really careful and just make micro-movements, a technique you quickly learn as underwater photographer.
